Not Sure How Much You Need?

We Can Help!

The key to measuring your yard is to calculate the length and width of your yard. This will help you find the total area of your yard, stated as “area squared”. The math here is Length x Width = Area Squared. Although yards are not often perfectly square or rectangular, you can estimate the amount of grass you need by breaking your yard down into rectangular sections and multiplying the length times width of all sections.

Man installing sod on a lawn

What Our Customers
Have To Say About Us

I ordered a pallet of Empire zoysia on Monday for a 3pm pickup Thursday. I picked up my sod at 3pm on Thursday. I installed the sod Friday morning at 8am. This is what my sod looked like when I started the install. Unacceptable!!! This is the response I received from Legacy Turf Farms. Wow. Hello Mr. Sanders, I received a message of your phone call this morning. It sounds like there are some concerns about the sod. I have attached a care guide of instructions for watering and mowing. We are confident that the Empire Zoysia is healthy, viable, and in good shape. One thing to note is that North Georgia, where we grow the sod, has had quite a cool spring in terms of temperatures. The sod fully wakes up and comes out of the dormant period when soil temperatures are consistently 65 degrees fahrenheit and above. While the air temperature is now getting hotter, soil takes a little longer to warm up through and through. When soil temperature is 65 and above, the sod will "wake up" and begin to establish a root system. Keep the sod watered each morning, and be sure the sod has dirt to dirt contact with the ground. Update: I did receive a refund. Update: 7/18/2022 I received a call this Winter from the new Manager of Legacy Turf Farms. He stated that he wanted to make me happy. I told him to wait until Summer. I just installed new sod that he gave me free of charge. The new sod looks amazing. Great customer service.

I bought a half pallet of geo zoysia to fill the spaces left after removing several trees in my yard. The person who loaded my pickup was very professional. I bought 2 pallets of the same sod last year to fill the gap left after I had a large magnolia removed. This grass & is looking very beautiful on my lawn.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new lawn from Legacy Turf. Josh Shook with Upward Solutions took great care of us and treated it like his own yard. All we wanted was a beautiful yard for our kids to play in and your team delivered. We're excited to watch as the sod takes root and makes downtown Cartersville its home just like our family.
